IIM-Lucknow will be conducting CAT 2010

The country’s most coveted management entrance examination — cat, will be conducted by the IIM Lucknow (IIM-L) in 2010. IIM Ahmedabad, which conducted the prestigious examination in 2008 and 2009 in association with IIM Bangalore, handed over the responsibility of the cat convener to the IIM-L faculty on 1 June.
cat 2010 will be handled by IIM-L and IIM Calcutta. Professor of IIM-L, Himanshu Rai, will be the convener of the 2010 exam.
The process for the 2010 examination has already been set in motion and if changes are done will be made public through the CAT website and the media.
According to sources, transparency will be maintained in the entire exam process, for the advantage of candidates. And, they will be updated about changes on time. The partnership with Prometric is supposed to continue this year too. Prometric had roped in NIIT for conducting the test last year and this year it will continue the same.
