IECD to offer special courses

Tiruchirapalli : The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD), Bharathidasan University, here will offer special summer courses on Animation Basics, Web Design, Basic Computer Operations, Tally -9, DTP, C, C++, Computer Hardware and Networking, Guitar, Keyboard, Refrigeration and AC Maintenance, Spoken English, Cell Phone Servicing, Java and J2EE.

In a press release here today, the IECD said it will offer 50 per cent scholarship for SC / ST candidates; 25 per cent scholarship for MBC and BC candidates; and 100 per cent scholarship for differently-abled candidates in the course fees. All courses will be conducted on weekdays from 0700 to 1930 hrs, except Sundays.

Admissions were open for the courses from March 22. For registration, candidates should bring their educational and school certificate / disability certificate on or before March 31 on all weekdays between 0900 to 1800 hrs, the release added.
