45 foreign dignitaries visit KIIT and KISS

Bhubaneswar: A large team of intellectuals from different educational institutions across the world visited KIIT to exchange views on education system and allied issues.

The visiting team included Sanjay Wadvani, British deputy high commissioner, Kolkata, Prof Wolfer Ragnar Grimsan from Iceland, Dr Ruandet Wongla, president of Chiang Mai Rajbhat University, Prof (Dr) Sul Dong Ho, president, Hanbat University, South Korea, Dr David Sanderson, director, CENDEP, Oxford Brookes University and Bijayee Judge Azorna, noted social activist and Ramon Magsaysay awardee.

They also visited Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), the largest residential institute for the tribals in Asia.
 
Seven representatives accompanied Dr Wongla from Chiang Mai Rajbhat University, while Prof (Dr) Sul Dong Ho led a five-member delegation from Hanbat University. Fifteen representatives from Oxford Brookes University were also part of the visiting team.
 
KIIT University and Hanbat National University inked a Memorandum of Understanding on the occasion. Hanbat National University is the third largest national university in South Korea.

Similar MoUs will be signed with Chiang Mai Rajbhat University and Oxford Brookes University.
