AFMC test

The Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, has invited applications for its entrance test to be held on May 2, 2010 across the country for admission to its MBBS course.

The duration of the course is four-and-a-half years followed by a compulsory rotatory internship training of one year.

Candidates admitted to AFMC for MBBS course have compulsory liability to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services. There is no tuition fee.

The entire expense of the course will be met by the Government of India. The college is fully residential. Application form and other details can also be downloaded from the website www.afmc.nic.in.

The duly completed application along with a demand draft for Rs.250 drawn in favour of the Commandant Armed Forces Medical College payable at Pune should be sent to the Officer in-charge, admissions, dean office, AFMC, Pune- 411040 by a registered post so as to reach the addressee on or before February 5.
