Delhi government to felicitate last year's CBSE board toppers from each Stream

cbseOn February 10, the Delhi government will felicitate last year's CBSE board toppers from each stream. According to a report in Press Trust of India (PTI), the Delhi government's Directorate of Education (DoE) said in a notification, "Thirteen students who were toppers of Arts, Science, Vocational and Commerce streams in CBSE board exams for 2014-15 session, will be felicitated."

The felicitation ceremony will be held at Tyagaraj stadium. Further in a statement, it said, "Among those who will be felicitated for achievement of 100 per cent result by the schools, include 102 principals of government schools and five heads of Delhi government-aided schools".

The principals of five Delhi private schools - Sardar Patel Vidyalya, Mothers International School, Sanskriti School, Blue Bells International School and Birla Vidya Niketan will also be felicitated.

This year, over 13 to 15 lakh students will going to appear for class 10 and 12 board CBSE examination. The CBSE examination for class 10 is set to start from March 1 and will continue till March 28 and the examination for Class 12 will start from March 1 and will continue till April 22.
