Gorakhpur University would hold the third round of BEd counselling from August 16 to fill 48000 seats

Gorakhpur University would hold the third round of BEd counselling in the state from August 16. It would be held to fill 48,000 seats in the BEd colleges.

The online registration for participating in counselling began from Monday. The process of registration continued on Tuesday. In city, only one counselling centre is there at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University. Nodal co-ordinator CSJM University Sandeep Singh said that from August 5 to August 14, the students will get chance for online registration to participate in counselling. They would have to log in www.upbed.nic.in.

The students would be required to reach the counselling centre mentioned in the counselling letter to get their original documents like marksheets verified.

"This work would be carried out from August 16 to August 20," Singh said.

The students who had passed the BEd entrance examination but appeared in the first two rounds of counselling cannot take part in the third round. Those who have not taken part in counselling earlier, would be eligible to participate in the third counselling.
