VIT invites Application for MTech and PhD Admission

vit Vellore Institute of Technology University (VIT)-Vellore invites application for admission to Master of Technology (MTech) program (by research), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in various subjects offered at Chennai and Vellore campuses for the session commencing academic session.

Aspirants need to apply through prescribed format latest by November 30.

Eligibility criteria for VIT University Admission

Educational qualification for VIT University Admission:

MTech (by Research) programme: Aspirants wish to apply for this course need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master's degree in Computer Applications (with Physics and Mathematics at Bachelor's level) with minimum 60 per cent or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university/institute.

MPhil programme: Aspirants wish to apply for this course need to possess a Master's degree in a relevant subject with minimum 60 per cent from a recognised university/institute.

PhD programme in Sciences / Humanities / Languages: Aspirants wish to apply for this course need to possess a Master's degree in Sciences/Humanities / Social Sciences / Languages with minimum 60 per cent from a recognised university/institute.

Selection procedure for VIT University Admission:

Aspirants will be selected on the basis of their previous academic performance and the performance in the test and interview by the university.

Application fee for VIT University Admission:

Aspirants need to pay Rs 950 for each application form.
