BHU has set up 115 help desks temporarily in the university premises to help students in online admission

To help students in filling up online applications forms for admission for various under graduate and post graduate courses in Banaras Hindu University (BHU), as many as 115 help desks have been temporarily made in the university premises.

According to chairman, Press Publication and Publicity Cell, BHU, Prof Rajesh Singh, the facility has been made keeping in view the number of applicants from rural belts and those who have no access to computers.

As many as 15 such terminals have been installed at Mahila Mahavidyalaya, 40 terminals have been installed at Cyber library, Central Library. 10 terminals have been installed at UGC Academic Staff College, while a total of 40 terminals have been installed at different places in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-BHU). Students who have no access to internet and computers can visit these centres and fill up application forms under the guidance of technical staff of BHU.

Apart from that, university has also released two helpline numbers (7275184274) and (9450540927) to solve the problems of the student in filling up online application forms.

It may be mentioned here that the application process of BHU has been made completely online from this year. The application process has already started from March 05.
