What's wrong in having a sleep Day, when we have days to be celebrated for almost all. Sleep - How important it is for a human being. A multimillionaire with A to Z wealth and resources could not sleep not even a single peaceful day, while a person who simply survives with a hand and mouth existence enjoys a sleep with a heavenly sleep. There are people who are prepared to may even crores for peaceful sleep.

We heard the story of Kumbakarnan who sleeps six months continuously and work continuously for another six months. If we look into this deeply, these may reasonable significance in this.

World sleep day was celebrated on Friday. The vital message of this celebration is, Restful sleep, Easy breathing and healthy body. It is obvious the cute for obstructive sleep Apnea (OSA) is nothing but a peaceful sleep. Many grown people and aged people are suffering from this kind of problem. Besides, around 25 percent of children between one and five years of age are also suffering in this issue.

A study was made to understand about these sleeping problems. The study was conducted, taking into consideration of 497 children in the age group of 2 months to 15 years.

A pre made and standardized questionnaire was filled up to realize about the sleeping pattern of those children.

Based on the response only, the study was conducted.

The study was conducted by Dr.Sureshkumar, from Chennai sleep disorders centre Vijaya Health centre. It was found in the study conducted by Dr.suresh Kumar that 36% of the children had one way or other some form of sleep dis- orders. Because of obesity 27% of the children has this sleeping related issues. 8%of the children got his problem because of observation sleep Apnea.

The problem of observation sleep Apnea is higher in India when compared to the Weston countries.

The children who have the sleep problems had night mares, sleep talking and sleep walking. Normally, according to the study, the children do not inform this problem to parents and other.

Dr. Sheetal Suresh, the sleep specialist said that preschool children have more excessive day time sleep and night time awakenings. The children between 12 and 18 age have less sleep and they are not completing their week and schedule properly.
