ICAI announces the results of CA intermediate examination

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on Wednesday announced the results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) examination conducted in May this year. Less than 12% of the 63,871 candidates who appeared for the exam cleared it.


Sakshi Sanjay Gupta from Mumbai, with a score of 81.14%, is the all India topper in the test. Two candidates - Himanshu Nemichand Agrawal from Surat and K N V V Upendra from Vuyyuru - scored 80.71% to secure the second place. Ronak Bhaphna of Vadodara secured 79.86% in the test to come third.

Of the 1.24 lakh candidates who sat for the Group 1 test, 19.44% cleared it, while the pass rate in the Group 2 test stood at 14.83%. About 1.12 lakh candidates took the Group 2 test.
