The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) is expected to declare the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) on Tuesday, May 3 on the official website, www.nbsenagaland.com

According to an official notification, the results will be out by Tuesday afternoon. However, last year the board declared the results on April 30.

In the examination, around 38,000 candidate appeared for the Class 10, while around 40,000 students appeared in the Class 12 examination this year.

The Class 10th board examination was held between February 10 to 23 at various test centres across the state.

Meanwhile, the board examination for Class 12 was conducted between February 9 to 27 in the state.

About the board:

The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), which conducted board examination for Class 10 and 12 has got the responsibility of developing secondary education in Nagaland.

The NBSE was established on November 15, 1973 by an Act of the Nagaland Assembly legislative Assembly but started functioning from October 1, 1974.
