Registrations for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) have started

eamcetThe registrations for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) have started and March 21 is the last date for submission of applications. The exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE and is scheduled to be conducted on April 29.

It is held for admissions into various professional courses offered in university/private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidate will not be allowed to take the exam even if they are late by one minute. The rank will be provided on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the examination.The minimum qualifying marks will be 25 per cent of the total marks for general and OBCs and there is no criterion for minimum qualifying score for SC and ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for admissions into various professional courses offered in university/private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh

Education qualification:

Interested candidates must have passed the intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology with minimum 45 per cent marks for General or 40 per cent marks for the reserved categories. Those appearing in Class 12 or its equivalent examinations, are also eligible to apply. They will be required to show their passing certificate at the time of admission.
