Pass Percentage increase in Maharashtra SSC Board Exam Result

boardThe Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the result for the SSC supplementary Exam. The board has recorded a pass percentage of only 25.37 percent, Mumbai students got a pass percentage of 17.84 percent.

The board had announced the SSC (Class 10) Board Exam result on June 6. The state had recorded a pass percentage of 91.46 percent. The re-examination for Maharashtra Board SSC exams was held on July 21. Nearly 1.38 lakh students had registered for the exam, out of this 32,325 candidates were form Mumbai. The students who clear these exams will be eligible to join the academic year for higher studies, starting on September 1.

In the SSC examination result held in March, the maximum pass percentage was recorded in Konkan division, at 96.54 percent, and the next was Kolhapur with 95.12 pass percent. Pune takes third position with 95.10 percent, and Mumbai was fourth with 92.90 pass percent. Girls had overshine boys once again. The girl students has achieved a pass percentage of 92.94 percent, while the boys got 90.18 percent.

This year, over 17.3 lakh students attended for the Secondary School Certificate examination, which was conducted at 343 centres in the state. The exam started on March 3 and concluded on March 26. The students were tested on subjects under Social Science, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Information Communication Technology and Languages.

Also, the state witnessed an increase in the number of schools having a 100 percent pass record in the exam result , with a total of 4,731 schools with all their students passed. 21 schools reported zero pass percentage in the SSC exam result
