Department of Atomic Energy offers placement after training for the BE graduates and M.Sc students.

A monthly financial assistance of Rs.20,000/- and a monthly salary after training of Rs.61,000/- will be given by offering the position of scientific officers in Baba Atomic Research centre.

The post of scientific officers will be offered at Baba Atomic Research centre, Mumbai, Indira Gandhi Atomic Research centre- Kalpakkam

Raja Ramanna centre for Advanced Technology- Indore,

Nuclear fuel complex, - Hyderabad – and

Atomic mineral Directorate, - Hyderabad.

An one year training will be given before appointment. Rs.20,000 stipend and an allowance Rs.10,000 are will be given to the selected candidates.

The candidate who have 52% marks and after successful completion will be appointed in as scientific officers in

1. Baba Atomic Research centre – Mumbai

2. Indira Gandhi Research Centre – Kalpakkam.

3. Raja Ramanna centre for Advanced Technology – Indore.

4. Variable Energy cyclotron centre – Kolkata

5. Heavy water Board – Mumbai

6. Nuclear fuel complex- Hyderabad

7. Board of Radiation & Isotopic technology – Mumbai

8. Nuclear power corporation of India Ltd- Mumbai

9. Bharthiya Nabiqya Vidyouth Nisam Let – Kalpakkam

10. Uranium corporation of India Ltd- Jaduguda

11. Atomic Minerals Directorate of India – exploration & Research – Hyderabad

12. Directorate of constitutions services & Estate management – Mumbai.

Besides on starting monthly salary of Rs.61,000/- additional facilities like Education Advance for children, medical Aid and other facilities.

The candidates may get the opportunities to continue M.Tech, M.Phil & PhD at Hori Baba National Institute.

The candidates should execute a bond agreeing to work at least for 3 years.

More over, the scheme of 2 years fellowship is also introduced.

The fellowship is applicable to the candidates to joint in Indian Institute of Technologies at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, at Varanasi, NIT at Rourkela, Institute of chemical Technology, Mumbai. The candidates will get a financial of Rs.20,000 per month, Book allowance Rs.10,000 and expenses of Rs.25,000/-

The students who have completed Be, B.Tech, B.Sc (Engineering) in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical civil, Electricals, Electronics, (Electronics & Communications, Electronical and controls) computer science, instrumental and 5 years integrated M.Tech are eligible to apply. The candidates who have passed M.Sc in physics, applied physics, chemistry, Bio science, geography & Applied Geo physics. The candidate who have passed 5 years Integrated M.Sc Geology, Applied Geology, Applied Geo Chemistry, (or) M.Tech in Geological Technology, and Geophysics technology. BE or B.Tech in Engineering Physics can also apply.

The candidate should have scored at least 60%.

The students should have appeared 12 and have score in GATE in the subjects, Electrical & Electronics (or). Electrical & Instrumentation (or) Electrical & Electronics (or) Electronics.

The candidates qualified in AMIE, AIETE, AMIICH should have scored minimum 60% can apply.

The candidates who are qualified in Aero space, Automobiles, Industrial production, reliability, ceramics, Architecture, Geology, Mining, Bio-medical, Electronics, Bio – Medical Instruments, communication information technology, Master of computer applications. Dyes and dyes Intermediacies, electrochemical, energy systems, oil and fats, paints and varnishes, petrochemical, plastics, paper sugar Technology, textiles, & mechatronics can not apply.
