Fee increase in Indian Institute of Management

To the tune of fee increase of Rs. 1.9 lac to 2.5 lac was announced at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad. The fee increase is faced by the course.

Post Graduate Management (PGM), Agricultural Research Management (PGP - ABM) and PGP for executive. Ashish Nanda, the Director of IIM-Ahmadabad said, the fee increase with be implemented from 2015-17 batches.

The fees for the 2 year course. PGP and PGP ABM are increased from Rs. 16.6 lac to Rs.18.5 lacs. The fee of PG PX course is raised from Rs. 21.5 lac to Rs. 24 lac.

Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad is the first Institute of its kind, to increase the fee, after a gap of two years.

According to the sources, the fee raise is to make the institute financially self sufficient. Moreover, lot of new innovations and changes are also announced.

The PGP-ABM review committee recommended restructuring IIM – A as the course.

PGP-FABM (Food and Agri Business Management) will be renamed as PGP- PABM from next year.
