English course by Oxford University Press

English course in listening and speaking for students was launched in Bangalore by oxford university press.

Shefali Ray, faculty and English language consultant for state council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) explained, that the course titled as “ECHOES” is a 10 level interactive course concentrating on listening and speaking skills of students Echoes is designed to improved to the skills related to academic, social and career with respect to the global scenario of the high school students step by step. To train the students, interactive method of training is followed.

The workshop for this purpose was conducted at Bangalore in which 90 teachers participate Explanation was given about teaching pronunciation of words, word stress, pauses in long sentences, intonation for various purposes.

The managing director of SCERT, Ranjan kavl said, a 1 to 10 class syllabus is formed to improve oral communication skills of students.
