China:

A news report from Beijing says that a high school in China has given its senior students I pads instead of books.

Dinling High School in downtown Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu has provided 30 students Apple tablets to reduce the carrying of bags. More schools in china are trying to implement this system.

WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY:

Education is attaining a stage of competition in the last few years. Every Government in the world is trying to bring their universities to the world class standard No country is an exemption to this focus. The Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to bring 5 Russian Universities, in the top 100 of the list of world universities, before 2020. In the same way president Shinzo Abe in Japan said that, certainly 10 of the Japan Universities will attain the state of top Universities by 2023.

Tie up between Netherland University and Presidency - Kolkata

An agreement was signed between university of Groningen, of Netherland and Presidency University Kolkata.

Based on this agreement, students are selected from Kolkata Presidency for pursuing internship in Netherland.

Scholarship in the name of Amitabh:

A scholarship was awarded in the name of Amitabh Bachan in an Australian University. The scholarship titled as “Shri Amitabh Bachan Scholarship” worth about A $ 200,000.

The scholarship is meant for media, digital technology and communication.

The scholarship will be presented by Mr.Bachchan 4 years once.

Recently the Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachan visited La Trobe University in Australia to present this award to an Indian student Roshan Kumar of Ranchi.

The award is meant only for an Indian student who is studying in Australia.

Roshan kumar will do research in using social media potentially to communicate, health messages to India 80 million social media users may get the benefit because of the outcome of this research of Roshan Kumar.
