NAAC ACCREDITATION

National Assessment and Accreditation council (NAAC) is an autonomous body which was formed by University Grants commission (UGC). Now facilities are made in the website to check the validity and status of an Educational Institution meant for higher studies. The students can choose the Institute type, name of the state, and name of the Institute to check the status of the Institution he wants to join. 66 universities are listed in the NAAC web site.

www.naac.gov.in. The students can also get the information about the standard of the Institution.

Classes started in Nalanda:

It is a happy new to Educationists and students that 800 years old Nalanda University is restored again. The university is located in Rajagir city of Bihar’s Nalanda district. The university was started in the newly established campus with 15 students and 10 professors. The proposal was mooted by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, few years back, and it is worth mention here that his dream has come to reality.

Nalanda University came in to vibrant for performance by an act of parliament. The formal function now place on September 14. The Governing body chairman is the Nobel Laurel and Economist Amartya Sen.

5000 faculties for Higher Education:

The ministry of Human Resource Development decided to provide 5000 faculty positions for Higher Education in the current five year plan. This will be under the scheme.

Rastriya Uchchatar Abhiyan (RUSA). The 5 year plan will be up to 2017.

A constant amount of Rs.5.8 lac per year for each staff will be allotted by central Government, and rest of any should be borne by respective state Government.

This program costs to the Govt to the tune of 99000 crore rupee.
