New medical classes commence in Tamil Nadu

Getting Medical Admission is a challenge in a Government college in Tamil Nadu. A close and neck to neck completion prevails in getting a seat in Tamil Nadu Medical colleges. It is obvious; Tamil Nadu takes in Medical students only based on Marks scored in XII.

Classes in Medical colleges started on Monday, and 2600 students start attending classes in 19 government medical colleges.

The medical admissions were done by the selection committee in two phases. A total of 2555 a seats were filled in medical colleges and 100 seats were filled in dental colleges.

Dr. S. Geetha Lakshmi, the Director of Medical Education welcomed and encouraged the fresh medicals. It is informed that the service students who involve in ragging will be taken into account and serious actions will be taken. To look in to the other side of the coin, senior students offered warm welcome to all the freshers in the college.
