Request from Mailaduthurai Wild Life Post Graduates

The students of Anbanathapuram Vagayara charity college (A.V.C College) of Mannampandal near Mailaduthurai (Mayuram) who have completed their degree course in wild life biology send request to the state Government of Tamil Nadu to consider them for the posts in forest department. They have specifically appealed to chief minister of Tamil Nadu to consider their request.

They have highlighted the value of the course M.Sc Wild Life Biology but they felt they were the most neglected. They also added that they have become on utilized human resources. Mr. Varadharajan, the principal of A.V.C college said that these graduates were highly qualified, they took several subjects in their courses underwent practical training in dealing with wild life also.

It is observed that some of these graduates are as such engaged in assignments in connection with wild life science as scientists and researchers in Premier Institutions of the country like wild life Institute of India, Sacon, BNHS etc.

Some of these scientists have International status also and they are the member of IUCN (International union for conservation of Nature). But the state Govt of Tamil Nadu has yet to recognize them.
