Jobless Youngsters in India

Searching for job is the order of the day for Indian youngsters. Why don't they think of creating the job and by doing so, they may become job giving masters, is it not? The very idea of spreading the Technical Education and providing loans for self Employment programs is creations of more job opportunities.

Census 2011, I released recently revealed that more than 20% of Indians in the age group of 15.24 were jobless.This in figures is 4.7 crore out of which 2.6. crore were men and 2.1 crore were women. Of course, the economic growth was over 8%. But this unemployment issue is alarming.

The unemployment rule in 15.59 working age population was 14.5%.

The census statistics says, around 43.5 lac children aged between 5, 14 are forced to work as labourers. This accounts in absolute terms world 1.3 crore child workers.

The unemployment rate is 18% in the crore of 25to29 age group. In the age group of 30.34, nearly 6% were unemployed and this in figures is 1.2 crore.

In the case of dalits, in the age group of 15.59 years, 18% unemployment prevails and this is much more than the general population. In the case of Adhivasies, the unemployment rate was over 19%.
