NMAT 2012 - National Management Aptitude Test 2012 Details

Introduction

NMAT (National Management Aptitude Test) is the entrance test conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admission to its various MBA programmes. Every year NMAT is held in the month of December in over 20 centres across the country.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has accredited NMIMS University with Grade 'A'. Based on the recommendations of the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, has accorded Deemed to be University Status to NMIMS in January 2003.

Eligibility For NMAT 2012

The candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University, with not less than 50% aggregate marks.
The candidates with two years of work experience after graduation are given preference.
Those who are appearing in the final year degree examination or are waiting for results can also apply.

Examination & Selection For NMAT 2012

The NMAT test consists of 200 questions and the time allotted is 2 ½ Hours (150 minutes ). Correct answer carries 1 mark each and for wrong answer there is a negative mark of 1/4.

Application Details

Prospectus and application form can be acquired from NMIMS Mumbai on payment of a requisite amount in cash or from select branches of DENA BANK. From NMIMS by courier: Enclosing a DD of a requisite amount (non-refundable, inclusive of courier charges) favouring SVKM’s NMIMS, payable at Mumbai with self addressed cloth envelope of size 10" x 13" addressed to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management & Higher Studies, V.
