Education Details & Eligibility:

To become a higher secondary professional teacher, a master's degree in either science or arts discipline with B.Ed degree (Bachelor of Education) is required. Candidates will be posted as P.G.Assistant.

• Teacher in Teacher Training Institute:

To become a teaching professional to handle Teacher Training School Students, Master's Degree in either arts or science discipline with a Master's degree in Education (M.Ed) is required.

• Teacher in Educational Colleges:

To become a teaching professional in educational colleges, to handle B.Ed, M.Ed courses, one should have a Master's degree in either arts or science stream, with a master's degree in Education (M.Ed), should have completed (M.Phil). Master of philosophy in Education, preferably Ph.D in Education.

To become a teacher in science and arts colleges, one should have a master's degree in either science or arts with Master of philosophy degree in the same discipline and preferably Ph.D. Selected candidates will be posted as Assistant Professors and then after 10 years they will be upgraded to the professor level.

• Teacher in Physical Education Colleges:

To become a teaching professional in physical education colleges, one should obtain a basic degree in science or arts discipline, then bachelor of physical education (B.P.Ed), then Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) and master of Philosophy in physical education, preferably Ph.D.

• Special Teachers:

To become a teacher in a special discipline in school - either music, drawing or craft - one should have relevant qualification with a one year course.

Approximate Education Expenses:

The total expense for doing degree in teacher training is as follows:

1.B.Ed - Rs.25, 000/ per year- (1 to 1.5 Years)
